The following is a detailed comparison table of resistor packaging size and power, compiled based on international standards (EIA) and mainstream manufacturer specifications: 

1、 Comparison of SMT resistor packaging size and power 

Note: The imperial code (such as 0603) represents the inch values of length and width (0.06 inches x 0.03 inches). 

The metric code (such as 1608) corresponds to the millimeter size (1.6mm × 0.8mm). 

2、 Package size of direct insertion resistor (some examples) 

3、 Key parameter description 

Precision identification: 

J: ± 5%, F: ± 1% (such as J in RS-05K102JT). 

Resistance code: 

Three digit numbers (e.g. 102=1k Ω) are used for ± 5% accuracy, 

and four digit numbers (e.g. 1002=10k Ω) are used for ± 1% accuracy. 

Temperature coefficient: 

K represents 100PPM/° C (such as K in RS-05K102JT). 

4、 Selection suggestions 

High density design: Prioritize 0201/0402 packaging, but pay attention to welding process requirements. 

High power applications: Choose packages of 1206 and above, such as 2512 (1W).
