Samsung Capacitor is a core business unit of Samsung Electronics, which focuses on R&D and production of multi-layer ceramic capacitor (MLCC). Its production base is the world's largest MLCC production center. The base is located in Shuiyuan City, Gyeonggi Province, Korea, covering an area of 370000 square meters, with a total investment of over 1.2 billion dollars. It is equipped with eight full-automatic production lines, with a monthly capacity of over 12 billion pieces, and can produce 01005 to 2225 full-size capacitor products.
In terms of core technology, Samsung Capacitor has self-developed X7R and X8R series dielectric material formulas, with dielectric constant stable in the range of 2000-5000 and withstand voltage ranging from 6.3V to 3kV. Unique 3D stacking technology increases the number of layers to 1200, and the capacitance capacity of a single 0402 size reaches 22 μ F. Low ESR series products are developed to meet the high frequency requirements of 5G equipment.
Samsung capacitor is widely used in the fields of smart phones, vehicle-mounted electronics and industrial equipment, covering the world's top five terminal manufacturers and passing the AEC-Q200 certification. The production base adopts 100 cleanliness standards and six sigma management, and the product failure rate is lower than 0.1Dppm.
